1. Who we are & acceptance
Xurray Mart and Xurray Journal are operated by Xurray Mart Ltd, registered at 32/33 Coca-Cola Complex Road by Tony D Junction, Ikpoba Hill, Edo State, Nigeria (contact: contact@xurray.com). By accessing or using our services you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Use of the platform
You agree to use the platform lawfully and not to misuse it, attempt unauthorised access, or infringe the rights of others. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and compliance with applicable EU and Nigerian laws, including product-safety and labelling requirements.
3. Orders and payments
Prices are shown in your selected currency (including EUR for EU customers and NGN for Nigerian customers). Payments are processed securely by our payment partners. A marketplace commission applies to sales as described in the seller terms. Age-restricted products (such as alcohol, 18+) are sold only to buyers who meet the legal age in their jurisdiction.
4. Consumer rights
EU customers benefit from the EU Consumer Rights Directive, including a 14-day right of withdrawal on eligible goods (see our Return & Refund Policy). Nigerian customers are protected under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) enforced by the FCCPC, including rights to safe goods, accurate information and redress. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights in your country.
5. Content and intellectual property
Editorial content on Xurray Journal is original and owned by Xurray. You may share links to articles but may not republish content without permission.
6. Advertising
This site displays third-party advertising served by Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.
7. Limitation of liability
The platform is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Xurray is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under EU or Nigerian law.
8. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by a dual framework reflecting where you are: customers resident in the EU/EEA are governed by the mandatory consumer-protection laws of their country of residence and may bring proceedings there; customers resident in Nigeria are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with the courts of Nigeria having jurisdiction. Where permitted, we will first seek to resolve disputes amicably, including via EU online dispute resolution mechanisms for EU consumers.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
